Stomerij De Kroon (hereafter "we", "us" or "our") is a family business specialised in textile care, founded in 1980 by the Van der Berg family. We are located at Willem Royaardsplein 1a, 2597 GS The Hague, with branches at De Savornin Lohmanplein 25 and Theresiastraat 101. We are the data controller for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy.
2. What data we process
We process personal data that you provide to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and address. We also process data about your garments and cleaning requests, and payment data if you use our payment services. We only process data that is necessary for providing our services.
3. Purposes of processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes: performing cleaning and repair services, processing your payments, communicating about your order, improving our services, and complying with legal obligations. For direct marketing we request your explicit consent.
4. Legal bases for processing
We process your data based on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing cleaning services), legal obligation (such as tax retention requirements), and your consent (for marketing purposes).
5. Retention periods
We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which they are processed. Order data is retained for a maximum of 2 years after completion of the service. Payment data is retained in accordance with the statutory tax retention period of 7 years. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw your consent.
6. Sharing with third parties
We only share your personal data with third parties to the extent necessary for providing our services or to comply with a legal obligation. We use payment processors, IT service providers, and accounting service providers who act as processors. We have processor agreements with them that comply with the GDPR.
